Here are some pictures from our fun filled week of Halloween! The kids had a blast and kept very busy with church, school and birthday party events! We are tired for sure. Madison had a sleep over/Birthday Party on Halloween night. It was our first one that she didn't Trick or Treat with us. We all weren't sure how to feel, but she ended up having a GREAT time - which is wonderful :) We sure missed her walking with us though!

I am also attaching some other photos from this last month! We had a visit from my Mom and John, which was great! They were able to do some really fun things with us, and the kids loved having them here!

Checking In

It's been a little bit so I thought I would check in! I am happy to say that everyone has adjusted really well to our new life. I am so thankful and blessed. The kids are doing great, enjoying their teachers and enjoying the YMCA in the afternoons. We all really look forward to the weekends and spending time together as a family. I have been having a great experience in school. I really do not want to jinx myself, but I have been getting awesome grades. Of course, I study very hard for them. Aaron has been great, without him, I really do not know if I could be doing this well. I really feel like God has been guiding my family, and walking us through this tough transition. I can see the difference I am making with my family. Madison has already made several comments that when she grows up she wants to be a Nurse just like her Mommy. It really is great to see the impact I have on their lives. I am so happy that they are watching me fullfill a dream of mine, and thankful they are making sacrifices for me to do this. It really is a family effort to get this far, everyone has given something up and for that I feel selfish. I know in the long run, this is a great thing for myself and the family! Ok, enough on that. Here are some recent pictures! Aaron has been nominated again for Airman of the Quarter!! I am so proud of him!

First Day of School

My first day of Nursing School! OMG, I was nervous.

The kids were very excited and ready to go!

I am so thankful for them.

Ryan's BIG day at Pre-K3. He feels so special going to Kyle and Madison's school.

Hanging out with Jessyka and Tanner before the bus came.

Watching some cartoons to pass the time.

Giving the peace sign for a grand exit.

Madison and Jessyka.

Madison's grand exit to!

It was an overall great day for everyone. Kyle loved his teacher, as did Madison. Ryan's teacher is so sweet and soft spoken. It really makes for a great start that they liked their teachers, at least the first impressions!!

More from July Trip to KC

The kids loved playing with all their cousins. Joey and Jackson had a sleep over with us at Mom's!

Madison loved driving the boat, she felt like a big girl!!

Riley LOVED swimming. It was so fun watching her.

Mom and I getting ready for the fireworks to start

Ryan has a turn driving the boat to.

Aunt Donna playing around with the kids

They were amazing! Loved the show at Lake Quivira.

My favorite house at my Mom's.

Papa and the kids.

They loved playing at the 'beach.' It was a great trip, and we are so thankful we got to spend time with both of our families. We probably will not be going home until I finish Nursing school since my program is so intense and the kids will be busy with sports, school and all of our other activities.

Pictures of our Trip so far...

We are still here having a great time, but I figured I would add pictures as the days go on!! Here is some highlights of our first day in Kansas City with our families.

Makenna was born in Feb, and makes 19 Nieces and Nephews!! Plus, one on the way!! We are very blessed. She is such a cute baby, and was in a very good mood :)

The Nurf Crew - Aiming it up!

We haven't gotten just a picture of us, for a long time! This is Aaron's beautiful Mom and my Mother In Law (Or my second mother!).

For Madison's 7th Birthday, her 5th item on her list was asking for a baby sister...she loves babies!

Mom looking great!!

Madison with one of the kids birds, I think Hope's. I will have to find out the real name of it, haha.

And there they are again! They had so much fun running around outside AND in the house playing darts...

Madison's 7th Birthday

7 years ago, little Madison was just born! How time has gone by so quickly. We had a great day celebrating her Birthday. We played games at Chuck E Cheeses, opened presents, had cake and ice cream which she loved! We also started our VBS at Church so she was able to celebrate with all her church friends to! It was a busy day. Here are some of the pictures. Her crown, she has worn since her 1st Birthday, it's pretty neat to watch the years go on with her wearing the crown :)
